根据省教育厅《关于做好 2021 年中小学幼儿园暑假有关工作的通知》，经学校防疫防控应急组研究决定，对暑假及新学期开学工作作如下安排：

    一、暑假时间：7 月 1 日（星期四）—— 8 月 31 日（星期二）。

    二、6 月 29 日（星期二）15：30，期末全校教职工大会（艺术大厅）。

    三、8 月 21 日（星期六）8：00，全校行政后勤正常上班；

           8 月 22 日（星期日），初、高中新生报到（具体报到时间由学部通知）；

           8 月 23 日（星期一）—8 月 27 日（星期五），初、高中新生入学教育；

           8 月 27 日（星期五），全体教职工返校，全体教职工培训&新员工见面会；

           8 月 29 日（星期日），高中报到（具体报到时间由学部通知）；

           8 月 30 日（星期一）9：30，全校教职工大会（艺术大厅）；

           8 月 31 日（星期二），小学、初中报到（具体报到时间由学部通知）；

           9 月 1 日（星期三），新学期开学上课、园外第一课；

           9 月 6 日（星期一），开学典礼。

    四、放假前，各学部须加强对学生的安全教育工作，指导学生科学安排假期生活。

    五、放假期间，学校要切实加强校园安全防范等工作，加强对外来人员管控，无关人员一律不得进入校园。

    六、当前，全球疫情仍处于大流行阶段，国内疫情防控形势依然严峻复杂。根据省疫情防控工作领导小组学校防控组《关于做好近期学校疫情防控工作的通知》（苏校防组[2021]7 号）精神，师生员工暑假期间不得前往国（境）外和国内疫情中高风险地区。师生员工离开苏州市，要按照规定程序，严格履行请假手续。不到人员聚集场所，不参加聚集性活动，遵守苏州市和出行目的地疫情防控规定，践行勤洗手、常通风、戴口罩、少聚集等公民防疫基本行为准则。

    七、返校前，学校会根据防疫政策查验苏康码、行程轨迹和 14 天的体温监测健康记录表。

    如疫情防控部门或上级教育行政部门有新要求，学校会另行通知。

Notice of Summer Holiday & New Semester 2021

In compliance with the latest notification by Jiangsu Education Department,SIPFLS Working Party for Novel Coronavirus Prevention and Control offers a specific plan for the summer  holiday and the new semester as follows.

1. Summer Holiday: July 1st (Thur.)-August 31st (Tue.) 2021.

2. June 29th (Tue.) 2021 15:30pm: End-of-Semester All-staff Meeting(Auditorium).

3. August 21st (Sat.) 2021 8:00am: All administrative staff will resume work.

    August 22nd (Sun.) 2021: Registration for Junior/International High School New Students. (The specific time will be released by each department.)

    August 23rd (Mon.)-27th (Fri.) 2021: Admissions Education Program for

    Junior/International High School New Students.

    August 27th (Fri.) 2021: All teachers and staff will resume work.

    All-staff Training & New Staff Meeting.

    August 29th (Sun.) 2021: Registration for International High School Students. (The specific time will be released by department.)

    August 30th (Mon.) 2021 9:30am: All-staff Meeting (Auditorium).

    August 31st (Tue.) 2021: Registration for Primary/Junior Students. (The specific time will be released by each department.)

    September 1st (Wed.) 2021: School will re-open and new semester will start.  SIPFLS First Class.

    September 6th (Mon.) 2021: Opening Ceremony.

4. Before the holiday, all departments are required to give students safety tips as well as help them make full use of this summer holiday.

5. During the holiday, the school must strengthen its campus safety & security and external personnel control measurement. Irrelevant personnel are not allowed to enter SIPFLS campus.

6. At present, the global pandemic is still surging, and the domestic situation in China remains severe and complicated. According to the latest notification No.7 Notice (2021) of Jiangsu Education Department on Safe Work of Schools,Colleges and Universities in Preventing and Controlling the Epidemic, all teachers and staff must avoid any overseas travels or travels to any medium-risk/high-risk areas in China during the summer holiday. Prior approval is requested when anyone has to leave Suzhou. Please avoid gatherings or any attendance at large public gatherings. Please take proper self-protection measures and maintain good hygiene habits such as putting on face masks, washing hands often, ventilating rooms routinely and reduce unnecessary gatherings, always keeping in line with the latest travel recommendations issued by the local authorities.

7. We will establish a re-entry policy including Jiangsu Health Code, 14-day Travel Record, 14-day Health Declaration Form based on the latest official requirements.

We will notify you the latest travel recommendations as soon as Headquarters for Epidemic Prevention and Control or Education Bureau releases any new policy in future.
