根据《国务院办公厅关于 2020年部分节假日安排的通知》及教育局《关于做好2020年元旦春节期间有关工作的通知》，现将 2020年寒假放假及新学期开学安排，通知如下：

一、寒假时间：1月18日（星期六）至2月6日（星期四）。

二、1 月 17 日（星期五）13:30，全校教职工大会（艺术大厅）。

三、2 月 7 日（星期五）8:00，全校教职工正常上班，10:00全校教职工大会（艺术大厅）；

       2 月 8 日（星期六）小学部报到（具体报到时间由学部通知到位）；

       2 月 9 日（星期日）初、高中报到（具体报到时间由学部通知到位）；

    ​   2 月10 日（星期一），新学期开学上课。

四、放假前，各学部须加强对学生的安全教育和管理工作，督促学生从各方面拓宽自己，充实自己。

五、放假前及放假期间请总务部切实加强校园安全防范等工作。

SIPFLS Winter Holiday & New Semester Notice 2020

In compliance with the notification by the State Council of China and Suzhou Education Bureau, Winter Holiday & New Semester 2020 is scheduled from Jan.18th 2020 (Saturday) to Feb. 6th 2020 (Thursday), twenty days in total. The following information needs your attention:

1. All-staff Meeting will take place in the Auditorium at 13:30 pm on Jan. 17th 2020 (Friday).

2. For all teachers and staff, School will resume normal operations from 08:00 am on Feb. 7th 2020 (Friday). All-staff Meeting will take place in the Auditorium at 10:00 am.

The registration for students from Primary School will start on Feb. 8th 2020 (Saturday).

The registration for students from Junior & High School will start on Feb. 9th 2020 (Sunday).

(The specific time will be released by each department.)

School will re-open to students at 08:00 am on Feb. 10th 2020 (Monday).

3. All departments are required to give students safety tips as well as help them make full use of this Holiday.

4. It is also noted that the Department of General Affairs should conduct a daily security check before and during the Holiday.
