我和秋天的约会——记苏州工业园区外国语学校幼儿园第三期养活教育(牧谷)基地亲子活动

 又是一年秋天。秋风不赶着来,山林的柿子却先红了脸,再看远方的稻田,似乎偷了太阳的颜色,金黄得耀眼……

 
It is the autumn time. The persimmons are turning red before the fall wind arriving. It seems the faraway rice field stole the color from sun. It is shining and bright golden.
 
 
 
生活在钢筋水泥堆砌起来的都市,许多人渐渐远离了森林、溪流和大海,翻开孩子的课程表:语数英、物理化、芭蕾、钢琴、手工、跆拳道……似乎唯独少了自然课。 
 
Most of us are living in the modern city which is built with iron and steel, but away from the forest, river, and ocean. Only we can find in the course schedule at school are math, Chinese, English, chemistry, physics, ballet, piano, hand-making course, and taekwondo course. And we can’t find the natural course in the schedule.
 
 
 
其实,我们缺的并不是大自然,缺的只是“教育”,正如美国著名作家Richard Louv在他的著作《林间最后的小孩》中,采用“大自然缺失症”一词,描绘现代社会的孩子们与大自然缺乏联系的事实。
 
Actually, what we are lacking is not the nature, is “education”. As described in the book, written by the famous writer Richard Louv, it is a truth that our kids have less connections with the nature. He used the word-- “nature-deficit disorder” to describe the truth.
 
 
 
 
 
一切源于生活,生活来源于自然
 
Everything is from the life and
 
the life is from the nature.
 
 
 
课堂在哪?
 
Where is the class?
 
 
 
大自然当作教室,因为没有任何一个学习环境像大自然那么宽广、那么有变化、那么吸引人。无论是丰富的颜色、多变的形状、各种各样的生物、奇形怪状的地形、还是变换的季节,自然都是孩子感知能力和创造能力的源泉。自然是人类最早的老师,早期的文字、文化、数学都源于对自然的观察。在自然环境中,孩子们能用自己的双眼去探索,用双手去触摸,用双脚去感受,切实地感受到自然界奇妙而强大的生命力,去发现美,去创造美。
 
The nature can be our classroom. Cause there is no classroom as the nature, which is wide, varying and attractive. No matter there are different colors, vary shapes, the different kind of creatures, the strange terrain or the changing seasons in the nature. It is the source to build up the kids’ perception and creativity. Nature is our first teacher. The words, culture and math are all from the nature observing. In the nature, the kids can explore the world with their eyes, can feel the world with hands and feet ,can feel the fantastic and powerful life force, also can discovery and create the beauty.  
 
法国教育家卢梭在十八世纪就提出了“回归自然”的教育观,这既是对孩子天性的释放,也是自然教育、环境教育的实践。“回归自然”不仅是身体的回归,也是心灵的回归。知识再多,不知道目的,也是枉然,就算孩子们能识别图谱里的动物,却一脚踩死一只活生生的昆虫,那么学到的知识就没有真正发挥作用。
 
In the 18th   century, the French educator Rousseau gave us an education concept “go back to the nature ”. It is not only release the kids’ natural instincts, but also the practice of natural education and environmental education. Even we have a lot of knowledge, but it is useless if we don’t know the goal of learning. Even the kids can recognize the bugs and insets in the pictures, but the kids will still kill the live bugs and insect with theirs feet. Then how we can tell the knowledge which the kids learned are useful?
 
 
 
每一个孩子都是独立的个体,
 
在自然的环境里教育引导,
 
激发孩子好奇心、求知欲和探索精神,
 
让孩子在自然中学习,
 
在情景中体验,
 
在探索中成长!
 
Each kid is individual
 
With the guide of the natural environment,
 
Stimulate the kids’ curiosity and the exploration spirit.
 
Let our kids learn in the nature
 
Let our kids experience in the real world
 
Let our kids grow up with the exploration.
