二十四节气之“立夏”来了——记苏州工业园区外国语学校国际幼儿园丰富多彩的民俗活动与环境创设
春雨惊春清谷天,夏满芒夏暑相连,秋处露秋寒霜降,冬雪雪冬小大寒……“立夏”是农历二十四节气中的第七个节气，代表着春天已经结束，夏天就要开始啦！“五一”前后，园外国际幼儿园的孩子们围绕“立夏”，会发生哪些有趣的事呢？
The traditional Chinese lunar calendar divides the year into 24 solar terms. The “Start of Summer”, the 7th term of the year, begins on May 6th this year. The International Kindergarten of SIPFLS has held a series of celebration activities to help kids greet the start of summer.
“立夏”习俗知多少
“立夏”有哪些习俗？孩子们一起分享着自己所知道的有关“立夏”的那些事儿：“立夏”要吃蛋，脖子上要挂蛋……结合孩子们已有的生活经验，老师给孩子们讲述了有关“立夏”传统习俗的由来以及各地的风俗习惯，如：称体重、玩“斗蛋”、尝“三新”等，通过图文并茂的展示与介绍，使孩子们更全面地了解了“立夏”这个重要节气，以及“立夏”习俗所富含的吉祥意义。
How much do you know about the customs of the start of summer? Teachers introduced its customs and origins to the kids: weighing people, eating eggs, etc. Kids had a more comprehensive understanding of the start of summer and the significance of the customs.
“立夏”体验欢乐多
为了激发孩子们在实践中主动探究和发现，小班年级组的孩子开展了“剥蚕豆”比赛，“老师，我们一组剥好了！”“老师！看，这是我剥的豆！”短短的时间里，孩子们很快就剥了满满的一大盘蚕豆，过程中不仅锻炼了他们的动手能力，也使孩子们体验到了自我劳动的快乐。
In order to stimulate kids to explore and find in practice, kids of bottom class held activities of “Beans Peeling Competition”. Sitting together, the kids were instructed to peel beans by the teachers. They enjoyed the happiness of hard work, and their hands-on skills were enhanced as well.
“立夏”还有一个特别有趣的习俗——“斗蛋”。孩子们一早就从家里带来了百里挑一的“蛋勇士”，经过班级几轮激烈的PK，最终各班的“斗蛋大王”脱颖而出，妙趣横生的“斗蛋”活动，进一步加深了孩子们对于“立夏”节气的了解与感知！
Kids gathered together to play egg competitions by colliding each other's eggs in pairs, and the one whose egg is not broken would win.
大班年级组的孩子们在老师的引导下，有模有样地学起了“编蛋兜”。据说“立夏”这天，孩子们佩戴装有咸鸭蛋的蛋兜，有消暑祛病、预防疰夏的寓意。瞧！他们有的两两合作，你拉绳子我打结；有的利用矿床水瓶，独立地编织着自己的蛋兜，专注认真的模样，让人啧啧称赞！
Kids of top class were instructed to knit bags to place eggs. As an old Chinese saying goes "hanging an egg on children's chest can prevent them from getting summer diseases", parents usually prepare boiled eggs and put them in a knitted bag before hanging them on their child's chest. Look! Some of them cooperated with each other and some knitted the bags by themselves.
好玩又有趣的“立夏”节气，自然少不了“尝鲜”！厨房的叔叔阿姨们也特别在“立夏”这一天，专门给孩子们烹饪了美味的“茭白炒鳝丝”，味道一级棒！
The Kindergarten also cooked delicious “fried eel with water bamboo” for kids on that day.
“立夏”环保时装秀
夏天到了，一起换上夏装，瞬间轻盈！追随着欢快的音乐，一场“DIY夏日环保时装秀”正如火如荼地进行着，漂亮的裙子，炫酷的T恤……这些靓眼的时尚搭配，取材于环保的材料及自然的素材，在家长和孩子们的奇思妙想中变废为宝，一起美美地秀一个吧！
A DIY summer environmental fashion show attracted our eyes. With parents’ and children’s fantastic ideas, these eco-friendly natural materials were turned into fashion clothes.
丰富多彩的“立夏”活动及相关的“立夏”环创，不仅让孩子们感受到传统节气的知识性、趣味性和参与性，同时也让中国传统文化与食育文化浸润孩子们的心并不断传承。
A wide variety of activities of "start of summer" and the related environmental creation created an opportunity for kids to enjoy the knowledge, participate in traditional activities. At the same time, the traditional Chinese customs and food culture were inherited as well.
