苏州市首届国际学校国际象棋锦标赛小学组团体冠军花落园外
10月26日，18名园外学生前往苏州伊顿国际学校参加苏州市首届国际学校国际象棋锦标赛。本次比赛由苏州市智力运动管理中心主办，苏州棋类协会承办。
Eighteenplayers from SIPFLS participated in the First International School ChessChampionship in Suzhou on October 26th 2019. This event was hosted by SuzhouIntelligence Sports Management Center and contracted by Suzhou ChessAssociation.

本次比赛采用每方25分钟,每步棋加10秒的快棋赛制。采用瑞士制编排比赛5轮。根据个人赛成绩的名次计算团体成绩，各队、组分别计算男子3人和女子2人的最好成绩。
Thegame uses the electronic clocks, starting with 25 minutes for each player withan increment of 10 seconds, 5 rounds in total. Moreover, team scores arecalculated using the individual best rankings.

园外参赛学生大部分选自国际象棋社团。国际象棋社团课开课一年多以来，受到学生的欢迎与喜爱。学生们通过课程的学习，对国际象棋的兴趣也越来越浓厚。国际象棋课程的学习，不仅仅能开发学生的智力和逻辑能力，还有助于提升学生们的洞察力，计算能力，更重要的是通过比赛对战的课堂学习模式，学生们的抗挫折能力也会逐步增强。
ChessCourse is very popular among SIPFLS students. Throughout the course, they becomemore interested in chess. The course aims not only to develop students'intellectual and logical abilities, but also to deepen their insight, their computingability, and more importantly, their ability to resist frustration.
