四月的春风拂过脸庞，苏州工业园区外国语学校国际小学部迎来了一、二年级家长开放日活动。
一年级的家长们相聚在艺术厅，来自苏州大学的王尔东教授为一年级家长们带来“和谐家庭，快乐成长”体验式培训。
School Open Day for Grade 1 & 2 was held successfully last week. Professor Mr. Wang Erdong from Soochow University gave Parents of Grade 1 a training on “Harmonious Family, Happy Growth” in the auditorium.

王尔东
苏州大学艺术学院党委书记，发展与教育心理学硕士、苏州大学博士研究生，中国心理卫生协会团体心理辅导与治疗专业委员会委员、副秘书长、心理剧学组组长、表达性艺术治疗学组副组长，中国心理学会临床与咨询心理学注册系统注册心理师，江苏省心理卫生协会理事，美国心理剧、社会计量与团体心理治疗考试委员会（ABEPSGP）认证心理剧导演（CP）和心理剧训练师（TEP），中央电视台《心理访谈》栏目心理专家。
王教授首先针对家庭在孩子抗压能力和健康人格养成中所起的作用做了详细讲解，并邀请家长和孩子们进行亲子互动，让家长和孩子们换位思考，从而共同营造和谐的成长环境。
Professor Wang firstly made a detailed explanation on the role of family in the development of children's anti-pressure ability and healthy personality cultivation. Parents and children were invited to do parent-kid interaction and perspective-taking, so as to create a harmonious environment for growth.
二年级的老师们为家长和孩子们准备了有趣的亲子游戏。“踏石过河”、“谁是得分王”、“背夹球接力”，大小朋友们个个精神抖擞，团结合作。大家在拔河比赛中拼尽了全力，齐心协力为班级争得荣誉。
Teachers of Grade2 prepared interesting games for parents and kids. With great enthusiasm and team spirit, they have made great efforts and won the honor for the class in the Tug-of-War competition.
家校沟通是每次开放日的必要环节。一年级老师们和家长们分享了孩子们每一点进步，孩子们在养活教育思想的浸润下，动手能力和思辨能力都有了明显的提高，他们越来越独立、自信。
Family-school communication is an essential part on Open Day. Teachers of Grade 1 shared the progress students have made with their parents. Students’ hands on skills and critical thinking abilities were enhanced due to the self-support education philosophy. They are more and more independent and confident.
二年级的老师们精心策划了冷餐会，邀请孩子们和爸爸妈妈一起亲手制作各式美味。这也是特别为孩子们提供的一个展示舞台，孩子们纷纷上台，兴奋地与大家分享自己制作美食的过程。
Teachers of Grade 2 planned the buffet and invited kids and their parents to make delicious food by themselves. It was also a special stage for children to demonstrate themselves and they were excited to share the process of making with each other.
老师同时和家长分享了即将开始的养活教育基地实践活动的准备和推进。我们期待孩子们在养活基地的继续绽放。
每次家长开放日活动都是一段特别而又难忘的回忆，父母和孩子共同感受着信任、陪伴与责任。“养”出英才，“活”出精彩，园外伴你一路同行。
Open Day is a special and unforgettable memory. Parents and their children understood the significance of trust, accompanying and responsibility. We will be with you all the time.
