园外开设了文化艺术类，体育类，舞蹈类，技能类和科技IT类等40多门选修课。园外的选修课程动静皆宜，学生可以自主选择自己喜爱的选修课程。
We offer over 40 elective courses, such as culture and art, sports, dancing and IT. Students can choose their favorite elective courses by themselves.
本学期园外国际小学部增设了“特色体育”必修课程——棒球、击剑、高尔夫，旨在为学生们提供更加专业、系统、科学的体能素质运动训练。
In order to provide students with more professional, systematic and scientific physical training, we offer featured P.E., i.e. baseball, fencing, golf, this term.

养活教育思想，是当代著名思想家、国际社会公认的大教育家，同时，也是著名实业家的聂圣哲教授（博导）创立的。
Self-support education philosophy was proposed by Mr. Nie Shengzhe, who is the famous contemporary thinker, great educator and industrialist.
养活教育即“教孩子做不会做的事情，逼孩子做(不断改善)会做的事情，为孩子尽早树立正确的人生价值观”。让孩子们从小知道劳动的美，体验劳动后的乐趣和幸福感，为家人和他人分担责任的自豪和成就感，以及由于勤劳、肯吃苦而赢得别人尊重的满足感。
Self-support education aims at instructing students to do what they are unable to do and forcing them to do what they can do and build up the correct values for them. Students experience the joy and happiness after work, share the proudness and accomplishment of responsibility-sharing and earn others’ respect.
这里的 “逼”有二层含义：一是坚持，二是在坚持后的不断改善，精益求精。园外通过大量的实践活动证明了养活教育对于孩子们巨大的影响力。
