来自园外养活教育（牧谷）基地的新年问候——国际小学部一二年级融合班养活教育实践纪实
2019年1月2日-1月7日，苏州工业园区外国语学校国际小学一、二年级ILP班25名同学来到苏州工业园区外国语学校养活教育（牧谷）基地参加第七期养活教育实践课程。
On Jan. 2nd , 25 Grade 1 & 2 students of ILP class arrived at SIPFLS Self-support Skills Education (Mugu) Base for their 7 days of practical activity.
到达基地宿舍后，同学们有条不紊地整理好自己的行李箱，随后进入教室参加养活教育基地的了开班仪式。
On the first day, students entered their dormitory and tidied up the luggage. And then they attended the opening ceremony in the classroom.
在基地进行实践的每一天都是快乐而充实的。上午是语文、数学、英语的文化课，下午分别进行农耕课、选修课（茶艺/乐木）、厨艺课和公民课，回到宿舍后同学们还有学习内务整理的时间。
In the morning, they took cultural classes while in the afternoon they took agricultural classes and other elective classes. In the dormitory, they were instructed to tidy up, dress and do the laundry.
气温突降，老师们端上一杯杯热腾腾的姜茶，感谢基地的老师们给予园外的孩子们关心和帮助。
Hot ginger tea is offered since the temperature dropped suddenly. We really appreciate our teachers for their hard work.
短短6天，同学们学着自己穿衣、洗漱、洗衣服、打扫卫生、刷马桶；在茶艺课上了解了茶的种类，学会如何泡茶；在乐木课上掌握工具的用法，制作自己的木头凳子和房子；在农耕课上学习蔬菜移栽、采摘草莓、花卉种植、寻找春天…
In the past 6 days, students were instructed to tidy up, dress, do the laundry and clean the toilet. They learned about tea culture, types of tea, and acquired the basic skills of tea in the tea ceremony course; they have mastered how to use tools in iwood class and managed to make their own wooden stools and houses; they even learned vegetable transplanting, strawberry picking and flowers planting in farming course.
