为进一步加强学校安全工作，营造安全、稳定、和谐的校园环境，增强全校师生消防安全意识，提高紧急避险、逃生自救能力。每一次的演练都是为了让全体师生做到发生火警火灾时，能临危不乱，有序、迅速地按照消防逃生路线安全疏散，确保生命安全。

The mock fire drill exercise aims not only to raise the level of safety awareness of our teachers and students, but also to assess everyone’s readiness and response time when an emergency occurs. The drill primarily focuses on the safe and effective evacuation of both students and teachers to the gathering point. 

 

演练前两天，总务处结合学校实际，召集各学部负责人及各支持部门负责人召开了演练活动工作组会议，认真规划疏散路线，明确职责要求。

Before the drill, a meeting was held to clarify the specific requirements for this event concerning the actual situation at SIPFLS. All school departments participated in the meeting and discussed about the detailed practices.

 

 

2019年11月19日上午10点55分，苏州工业园区外国语学校举行了消防紧急疏散演练活动。为了保证演练过程中真实性，本次演练并未告知学部几点几十分开始。但是为了保证学生在疏散过程中的安全，各学部楼道安全员、计时组人员、狼烟组人员、安保组人员提前15分钟已经全部到达点位。

The fire drill took place this school year on November 19th 2019. After hearing the alarm, all SIPFLS students, teachers and staff left the classrooms and offices via the specified escape routes and met at the playground.

 

 

苏州工业园区外国语学校执行校长潘鑫宣布“消防疏散演练开始”，全校响起了火警报警信号，随之狼烟四起，疏散广播随即开始播报：“各位同学请注意，现在是火灾警报请不要惊慌，为了您的人生安全请在老师及安全员的指引下有序撤离。”各班班主任带领学生弯腰，捂住口鼻，沿着学校指定楼梯扣快速前进，有血撤离到学校操场的安全地带，随即各班班主任教师清点人数，并层层向上级汇报，整个过程平稳有序。

As soon as Principal Peter announced “Action”, an alarm was triggered and a radio broadcast started on campus. Our teachers took the lead and our students quickly moved in order, crouching down and covering their mouths and noses, along the route they evacuated to the school safe area.

 

   整个过程用时3分34秒，小学、初中、国际高中三个学部的学生在老师的指引下，能够做到如此迅速有序的撤离与平时学校对于安全工作的教育分不开。

 

The fire drill was very successful. The whole school completed the drill within 4 minutes, due to the fact that our school has highly emphasized on campus safety during the past years.

  

本次消防逃生演练总指挥执行校长潘鑫，副总指挥副校长时雪松。计时组第一时间把演练中用时最短班级及用时最长班级汇报给了两位校长。最后潘校对本次消防演练做了总结发言。

 

After all teachers and students arrived at the playground, each team leader counted the response time for each class, and then reported to our commander in chief- Peter Pan and vice commander in chief-Ken Shi. In the end, Peter made short a summary of this fire drill and delivered a speech about fire escape and emergency measures.

 

消防安全工作是我校安全工作的重中之重，在提高全校师生逃生技能的同时，做好平时消防检查。火灾通常情况下不是天灾，而是人们的行为错误引发的灾害。因此，防火减灾是我们全校师生的大事。培养全校师生的安全潜意识，时时、处处、事事注意行为安全和保障环境安全，是可以最大限度的防止和减少火灾危害的。总务处负责校园安全，平时的消防检查已形成常态化工作，消防设施操作员及保安人员每周进行培训、操练。在近期苏州工业园区教育系统中小学校安保技能大比武中，我校荣获个人“校园安全防控实操考核”二等奖和个人“安全知识竞赛”三等奖，并且获得了团体三等奖的荣誉。

In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff in case of any fire emergency, SIPFLS has been consistently making efforts to raise the level of safety awareness of our teachers and students as well as strengthen daily fire inspection and fire management on campus. The Department of General Affairs takes charge of our campus safety, including daily fire inspection and weekly training and drills of our firefighting facility operators and security guards. In the recent, our school won the second prize of the individual “Campus Safety Practice Contest” and the third prize of the individual “Safety Knowledge Contest” as well as the group third prize.
