 一手好字，犹如一张漂亮的个人名片，往往能够给人留下美好的印象。

Good handwriting is like a beautiful personal business card, which often leaves behind good impression to others.

 

 

自古以来人们就重视书写习惯的培养。先秦时期，启蒙教学中已经开始有了写字教育。

 

西周时期，就有“书”教的记载，所谓“书”教，包括识字与写字两方面教学，并以写字为主要内容。

 

There is a long tradition for Chinese people to cultivate handwriting practice. Long before Qin Dynasty, handwriting teaching appeared in China. A record about teaching during the Western Zhou Dynasty included writing as its main subject.

 

 

本学期，苏州工业园区外国语学校教研处举办了教师硬笔书法比赛。此次比赛统一用纸，统一规定书写内容，按照书写规范、工整、无错别字、运笔正确、点画精到、线条美观、结构端正、布局和谐统一等要求,书写出方方正正的正楷字。

 

This semester, the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching held a hard-pen calligraphy competition for all teachers. Certain criteria were considered while evaluating the answer papers, including legibility and neatness, font formation and uniformity in fonts, pen strokes and their angle, no typos and so on.

 

截止比赛结束共收到老师们提交的116份作品，老师们的作品行云流水，让评委们直呼挑花了眼！经过精心评选，最终推出了一等奖、二等奖、三等奖。让我们一起来欣赏这些优秀作品吧！

 

By the deadline of the competition, we have received 116 answer papers in total. Recently, the result of prize-winners was officially released. Have a look at the winners' masterpieces!

 

 

 

 

 

教师工整、美观、清晰的板书不仅给学生美的享受，还可以潜移默化地影响到学生。教师的一手好字不仅可以使学生爱上课堂，而且也是自己终生受益的财富。

 

A teacher’s handwriting closely relates to the student’s academic success, because it may not only make students fall in love with his/her class, but also develop their aesthetic sensibility.
