传承经典，照耀人生——苏州工业园区外国语学校初中部2019端午诗会
中国是传承诗歌的国度，不朽的诗人屈原以其爱国情怀和浪漫诗篇，已经化为我们民族的文化精魂。我们品粽香，过端阳；我们赛龙舟，诵《国殇》；我们在辞赋中寻根，到诗歌中溯源，以青春的豪气、美妙的舞姿、动人的歌声,共度这一传统节日。
Poetry has a long and proud tradition in Chinese culture. The immortal poet Qu Yuan, with his patriotic sentiments and romantic poems, has become the cultural celebrity of our nation. We eat Zongzi (rice dumplings) and honor the hero; we watch dragon boat races and read Qu Yuan’s poems. Nevertheless, we chant, sing and dance to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival.
2019年6月4日13：00，苏州工业园区外国语学校初中部2019年“端午诗会”在艺术厅隆重举行。八年级(1)班女生带来合唱《离骚》，七年级4)班演绎话剧《渔父》，让我们思考在浊浊乱世中，到底是该随波逐流，还是持身中正。
The 2019 Poetry Reading for Dragon Boat Festival was held by SIPFLS Junior School in the Art Hall on the afternoon of Jun 4th 2019. Girls from Class 1, Grade 8 brought us a chorus of Li Sao. Then, students from Class 4, Grade 7 performed the drama The Fisherman, so inspiring and thought provoking.
八年级(3)班带来诗朗诵《兵车行》，让我们聆听踏过几个世纪的达达马蹄声，隆隆的兵车声，为我们描绘一幅乱世生死离别的画卷。七年级（2）班同学带来《知否》，让我们看见了一位帘卷西窗下，步步倾心的多情诗人。
Students from Class 3, Grade 8 read the poem A Song of War Chariots, mimicking the sounds centuries ago and depicting a picture of life and death. Students from Class 4, Grade 7 sang a beautiful song called Don’t You Know, with its lyric describing an affectionate poet walking around by the window.
七年级（2）和（6）班学生共同带来诗朗诵《满江红》，声声动情，慷慨激昂，将诗会带入高潮。此次诗会不仅有中国的传统诗歌，八年级(3)班的同学们别出心裁，带来中法双语版的诗朗诵《湖》。最后，端午诗会在八年级的集体英文朗诵中完美落幕。
Groups from Class 2, Grade 7 and Class 6, Grade 7 delivered a passionate poem reading of Man Jiang Hong, bringing the event to its peak. In this Poetry Reading, students are free to choose any poems from traditional Chinese poetry, notably; students from Class 3, Grade 8 even recite a bilingual poem of Lake in Chinese and French. An English poem chanting by all students from Grade 8 marked the end of this celebration.
年年端阳，今又端阳，校园书声久回响。艾叶飘香，诗也飘香，屈原精神永传唱。端午传承文明，经典相伴人生，让诗歌的瑰丽，经典的智慧，编织成绚丽的光环，照耀我们的人生。
Dragon Boat Festival, also known Duanwu Festival, is a traditional holiday observed annually to commemorate Qu Yuan. On this particular day, we choose to read the poems and transfer the classics; moreover, we will apply the wisdom and shine our way.
