最好的课堂在路上 ——园外初中部“我与苏州古城保护”研学活动
2019年5月14日（周二），苏州工业园区外国语学校初中部举行“我与苏州古城保护”研学活动。
On May 14th, a research activity about Suzhou Ancient City Protection was held successfully in SIPFLS Junior High School.
苏州是一座拥有二千五百多年历史的古城，对于孩子们来说，这座城市是巨大的宝库，也是历史的见证。行前，孩子们悉心准备了宣传海报，用脚步丈量古城，用心感受着姑苏文化，护城河水的汩汩溪流响在耳畔，白墙黑瓦的古典风韵映入眼帘，亲身参与到古城保护的行动中去，意义非凡。
Suzhou is an ancient city with a history of more than 2500 years. For children, the city is a huge treasure house and a witness of history. Before the trip, the children carefully prepared posters. They measured the ancient city with their feet, and enjoyed the culture of ancient Suzhou. The gurgling streams of the moat were ringing in ears and the classical charm of white walls and black tiles came into their eyes. It was of great significance to participate in the protection of the ancient city.
上午，从耦园为起点，孩子们领取古城保护主题知识卡片，徒步至相门。聆听古城研究专家讲解有趣的古城历史，游览苏州城墙博物馆。下午，从人民桥徒步至胥门，了解胥门传说，绘画城门故事，完成知识卡片。他们根据当天所学，争当讲解员，积极提出古城保护的建议。
Starting off from the coupling garden in the morning, students got the ancient city protection knowledge cards and walked to Xiangmen. They listened to ancient city experts explaining interesting history and visited Suzhou City Wall Museum. In the afternoon, they walked from Renmin Bridge to Xumen, learned the legend of Xumen, drew the story of the gate, and completed the knowledge cards. Based upon what they have learned that day, they strived to be commentators to actively put forward suggestions for the protection of the ancient city.

本次研学，同学们身临其境，触摸苏州古城墙的前世今生。他们撰写研学报告，探究苏州古城建筑的历史价值、科学价值、艺术价值和文化价值，充分表达我们尊重传统文化、珍藏城市记忆的美好情怀。
Students have immersed themselves in this activity and had a further understanding about the past and present life of Suzhou ancient city wall. They wrote research reports to explore the historical value, scientific value, artistic value and cultural value of Suzhou ancient city architecture, which has fully expressed their feelings about respecting traditional culture and city memory.
