四月有爱 青春有礼——园外国际初中部举办七年级家长开放日、八年级青春礼
2019年4月24日（周三）下午，苏州工业园区外国语学校国际初中部举行七年级家长开放日、八年级青春礼暨国际高中升学指导会。
April 24th of 2019 was the school Open Day for Grade 7 and Fourteen-year-old Youth Ceremony & International High School Academic Advising for Grade 8.
在国际初中部教学楼，七年级家长开放日正在各自班级举行。各班以情景剧、诗朗诵、大凉山之行等不同形式分享为切入点，进入本次班会主题《把爱大声说出来》。各班进行亲子信件交换，温情满满。随后，课任老师包括外籍教师进入各班，就后者关切的孩子学习与成长问题与家长们进行沟通交流，并答疑解惑。
Open Day activity was held in the classrooms of Junior High School teaching building. Starting with sitcoms, poetry recital and the trip to Daliangshan, the theme of the class meeting was “Speak Out Your Love”. Parents and their children exchanged their letters with each other. Afterwards, non-classroom teachers, including international teachers, came into the classrooms to communicate with the parents about what they were concerned with and answered their questions as well.

在艺术厅，八年级家长开放日暨青春成长礼浓情进行。IB国际高中校长Joel Seow先生、BC国际高中校长Lee Simth先生作高中升学指导，介绍园外国际高中课程设置、优势、特色等相关情况。
In the auditorium, Fourteen-year-old Youth Ceremony & International High School Academic Advising for Grade 8 was held ceremoniously. Mr. Joel Seow, Principal of IB International High School, and Mr. Lee Smith, Principal of BC International High School offered academic instructions and introduced the course settings, advantages and features of International High School.
随后，青春成长礼仪式正式开始。展示孩子们的成长视频后，各班分别给家长们带来诗朗诵《责任畅想曲》、手操语《感恩的心》、情景剧《如此青春》和合唱《登鹳雀楼》。
Then, the ceremony started. After playing the video of students’ growth, the students performed wonderful programs for their parents.
孩子们庄重宣读青春誓词，将十四岁青春礼带入高潮。艺术厅内，响彻“心怀感恩，敢担责任，走养活教育之路，行光明磊落之事”的青春之声，观众们为之深深感染。
Students took an oath, which has led the ceremony to its climax. The audience was deeply moved by the voice of the youth, “be grateful, dare to take responsibility, take the road of self-support education and be frank and straightforward.”
国际初中部始终践行园外“诚实、勤劳、有爱心、不走捷径”的价值观，注重提升学生核心素养，全面助力学生健康成长，获得众多家长的共鸣与社会各界的肯定。学部举办家长开放日和青春礼活动，更好地促进家校共识，联谊携手，齐心同行，让孩子们在养活教育思想的浸润下，得到更好的发展。
We have been implementing the school value “Honesty, Hard work, Love for Others and Responsibility” and focusing on improving the core quality of students, which was affirmed by a good many parents and society. Open Day and Youth Ceremony activities will be held regularly to strengthen the links and communication between families and school. We firmly believe that, with parents’ active cooperation and the influence of self-support education, students will have better development.
