苏州工业园区外国语学校国际初中七年级家校见面会

2019年3月16日上午9点，苏州工业园区外国语学校举行2019秋季入学报名-国际初中部七年级家校见面会。

Junior High School Grade 7 Student Experience Day activity was held on the morning of Mar. 16th in the auditorium.

苏州工业园区外国语学校董事长张永红女士、执行校长潘鑫先生、副校长刘栋艳女士等主要领导出席见面会。

School administrators have attended the activity.

执行校长潘鑫先生为家长们介绍了2019年秋季入学报名的政策以及学校整体概况。

Executive Principal Peter Pan made a brief introduction of our school and shared with parents admission policy of 2019.

国际初中部主任左立华女士为家长们详细介绍了国际初中部的课程。

Ms. Zuo shared with parents the curriculum of Junior High School.

苏州工业园区外国语学校董事长张永红女士重点为家长们介绍了园外推行导师制的初衷。

目前的家庭教育存在很多问题，家长的目光专注于在校的学习成绩，其实，考试成绩的好不好，跟学生将来的成就大小是没有太大关系的，考试是一种能力，对于孩子们将来升学来说是很重要的，但除了考试能力以外，孩子们还有很多其它能力，而往往这些综合能力对他们将来的成就是有直接关系的。导师制的推行，就是要帮助孩子们挖掘除了考试能力以外的能力，他们的综合能力提高了，我相信考试能力相对于孩子个体来说也差不到那去，家长们一定要明白这个道理。

Chairman Ms. Annie Zhang introduced the tutorial system for parents, which aims at enhancing the effectiveness of education. There are a lot of problems in the current family education. Parents usually focus on students’ academic achievements. Actually students’ academic results don’t matter too much with achievements they will make in the future. In addition to examination skills, students have many other skills, which are directly related to their future achievements.

导师制的实施，可以让老师、家长、学生三位一体，三方拧成一股绳，一个合力，朝一个方向努力，让我们的教育更加有效。

The tutorial system was put forward by Ms. Annie two years ago and will be officially implemented in September this year. The trinity operation mode of teachers, parents and students makes education more effective.

之后，国际初中的社团为大家带来了精彩的表演，充分展示了园外学生的风采，除了基础课程、特色课程、国际课程，园外开设种类繁多的选修课程和社团活动供学生自由选择，全方位培养学生综合素质。

Students of Junior High School clubs gave a wonderful performance to demonstrate themselves. In addition to the basic courses, featured courses and international courses, we offer a diversity of elective courses and club activities to students as well.
