SIPFLS All Staff Meeting 2019-2020 Semester 1 took place successfully in the Auditorium at 1:30 pm on January 17th 2020. Vice Principal Ms. Rowena Liu hosted the whole meeting and announced the name list of award winners.

接着，执行校长潘鑫做期末总结发言，他从大数据方面回顾了园外本学期取得的成绩。

Executive Principal Peter Pan delivered a speech to review this semester.

 

 

教职工及学生人数：

在校学生数1860多人，教师243人，教职工119名班级76个。

Staff & Students: There are currently over 1,860 students, 76 classes in total; 243 teachers and 119 faculties at SIPFLS.

 

招生方面：

本学期报名人数约4000人，最终录取605人，招录比为1:7，可以说是竞争激烈、一位难求。生源质量进一步提高，招录比例不断刷新纪录。

Admission: The admission office has received more than 4,000 applications this semester, among which 605 have been finally accepted. The admission ratio has hit a new record- 1: 7.

 

海外录取方面：

我校国际高中部2020届毕业生共82名，现已收获超110份海外大学录取通知书，其中全球排名前100的有32份。IB国际高中徐云鹏同学被世界排名第八的伦敦大学学院（UCL）录取，多名同学被爱丁堡大学、伦敦大学国王学院、华威大学、墨尔本大学、悉尼大学等知名学府录取。

University Offers: There are 82 high school graduates in total, who have received over 110 offers from overseas universities, among which 32 from the world’s top 100 universities. In particular, Xu Yunpeng from IB high school has received an offer from University of London (UCL). Many students have been accepted by famous universities such as The University of Edinburgh, King's College London, The University of Warwick, The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney.

 

坚持践行“养活教育”思想：

本学期共有14个批次955名学生和家长赴基地实践学习。上午文化课学习，下午农耕、厨艺、茶道、香事等特色课程学习, 如磨豆浆、做豆腐、打稻谷等，强化了学生动手实践能力，也赢得了越来越多家长的认可。

Self-reliance Education:In total, 955 students and parents in 14 batches visited SIPFLS Education Base for Self-reliance- Moku Farm. The program enjoyed popularity among our students and parents, including academic courses, planting, cooking, tea ceremony, grinding soybean milk, tofu and rice and so on.

 

之后潘校回顾了本学期各学部及支持服务部门工作亮点及成绩，对全体园外人的辛勤付出表示肯定和感谢！同时，对新学期的工作进行展望并提出更高的要求。用“工匠精神”打造“百年园外”，新的一年，让我们不待扬鞭，自我奋进，共同建设更加美好的园外。

Later, Peter summarized the final achievements of all departments this semester, and extended his sincere thanks to all teachers and faculties! Besides, he deliberated some requirements for next semester. In 2020, we should strive for excellence and keep on progressing, making SIPFLS one of the best international schools with craftsmanship.
